WHILE WE TRY OUR BEST TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, WE ASK THAT YOU ALLOW UP TO 72 HOURS FOR A TEAM MEMBER TO RESPOND TO YOUR QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS.
 


  • WHAT IS THE POLICY ON REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS? 

    • While we are sorry to hear you can no longer participate, the rules surrounding road racing are very specific. Unfortunately, no refunds or transfers are allowed.
      
      ARE STROLLERS AND/OR PETS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE? 
      Yes. Both are. However, If you do decide to run with a stroller bearing your infant or toddler, you will be required to sign a waiver. Click here for waiver and email to admin@iftmeracing.com.
  • IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION FOR THIS RACE?

    • Note that alcohol is served at this race. Therefore children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone that appears to be under the drinking age by law will be asked to show state issued identification and will not be allowed in areas where alcohol is being served. Note that we reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone without proper identification.
  • WILL THERE BE NON-ALCOHOL VERSIONS AVAILABLE?

    • Of course! Stations serving non alcohol options will be set us to accommodate those under the age of 21 and those who do not drink alcohol.
  • HOW WILL WE BE INFORMED OF UPDATES REGARDING THE RACE

    • Four weeks from race day, you'll receive your first email. We will alert you to any pertinent information regarding the race. Notification will be sent to you using the email address you used at registration. If you have a fake email address on file, you will miss out on important race information. Likewise, if you use an email address that you seldom if ever check, well you get the idea!
    • To ensure that you're in the loop, add us (admin@ifitmeracing) to your list of authorized senders. This way, you'll be in the know...
  • WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO PICK UP MY PACKET? AM I ABLE TO GRAB MY FRIEND'S?
    • Packet pick up information is emailed to all race participants prior to race day. You most certainly are able to pick up for your friend just as long as you have a copy of the friend's registration.If you registered as a team, team captain or any team member can pick up the packets for the entire team.
  • DO I NEED TO CHECK IN ON RACE DAY?
    • If you do not have a bib, yes. If you already have a bib, you can just show up at the start line.
    • Check in will begin 2 hrs before the race. Note that check-in will end 30 mins before start time. For example, if race start time is8AM, check-in will be at 6AM. No check-in activities after 7:30AM. 
    • UNDER 21 MUST check in for wrist band on race day.
  • WHAT ABOUT WAIVERS?
    • Without a signed waiver, you will not be able to participate in our event. You will NOT be issued a bib unless a waiver has been signed by you. In the case of minors, parents or guardians MUST sign a release before participation. Click here for waiver for minors. 
  • I REGISTERED AFTER THE CUT OFF FOR SHIRTS. CAN I STILL GET ONE?

    • Nothing makes us happier than knowing that you will enjoy our shirts.However, the shirts are ordered per your size. Therefore, it is really kind of hard to predict who is going to register and when. For the popular sizes, we always order extra but again, we cannot guarantee a shirt in your size after the orders are mailed to the packet pickup location. We strongly advice everyone, if you really want a shirt to register before the date disclosed next to packet information.
  • I REGISTERED LATE. WHEN DO I GET MY BIB?

    • If you register 1-3 days prior to the packet pick-up date, please pick up your bib on race morning. Note that we cannot guarantee you a customized bib at this point but you will be able to receive a generic bib in order to participate in the race.
  • MY FRIENDS AND I ARE ASSIGNED DIFFERENT CORAL. HOW CAN WE BE ASSIGNED THE SAME CORAL?

    • Corals are assigned by the runner's pace. Note that you can always fall back to run with a friend. However, we ask that you refrain from moving up to join friends in different coral.
  • ARE THERE AGE GROUP AWARDS?

    • Of course! Runners who finish in the top tier of their age group division can expect a customized prize. Note that these are typically mailed. We ask for a 6-8week time period to get these out to you if you placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in your division.
  • WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON CANCELLATIONS/RACE LOCATION AND RACE DATE CHANGES?

    • Note that we do bear the right to cancel, postpone or make changes to an event depending on circumstances. In such an event, participants will be notified.If the event is cancelled, registrants will receive credit for their race registration fees only. Note that we do not refund processing fees. Processing fees are charged by Active and we are not able to view or access these fees. Please ensure that you include us in your approved contact list so that we are not hidden in your spam folder so as to ensure receipt of important information regarding the race.
      
    • In the event bad weather causes us to have to cancel a race, we will not be able to We will not be able to issue refunds, partial refunds, nor deferrals. In the event there is bad weather in the forecast, We will do our best to keep up with your local meteorologists and make a determination based on expected weather conditions. Our first concern is your safety. Our actions will be a reflection of just that; your safety.
      • A note: Athletes and race directors alike assume a risk that an outdoor, road racing event may be cancelled at any time, right up until the race starts due to weather conditions or public safety. It is a long-time standard in the sport that cancelled races do not offer refunds, but especially those that are cancelled or downsized at the last minute due to weather.
